Position Overview This is an extraordinary leadership opportunity to create, expand, and scale programs that enhance educational access, student growth, and the future of all-girls’ education. The Director of Auxiliary Programs and Strategic Initiatives will play a mission-critical role in advancing OLP’s impact beyond the high school setting, serving as a bridge to a future middle school while meeting the needs of today’s young learners. Job Summary The Director of Auxiliary Programs and Strategic Initiatives serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, advancing OLP’s Pilot Pathway Program, Athletics, Pilot Summer Academy, OLP Summer School, and BeYOUtiful Middle School Conference. This role is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising employees in Athletics, the Extension Program, Pilot Summer Academy (in collaboration with the program director), and Summer School (in collaboration with the program director). As an innovative leader and strategist, the Director will ensure these programs align with OLP’s mission, the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ), and the school’s commitment to all-girls’ education. This role is instrumental in expanding OLP’s impact beyond its high school community, developing academic, leadership, and athletic enrichment programs that foster opportunity and access for young girls. This position reports directly to the Head of School and collaborates closely with the Chief Finance and Operations Officer (CFOO), Assistant Head of School, Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Marketing and Communications, Assistant Principal for Student Life, Athletic Director, and the Director of Enrollment Management to ensure programmatic success and sustainability. Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Leadership, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in program development, education administration, athletics management, or auxiliary program oversight. Proven ability to hire, train, and manage staff across multiple program areas. Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in scaling, sustaining, and innovating educational initiatives. Strong knowledge of Catholic education and all-girls learning environments, with the ability to articulate the values, mission, and philosophy of OLP. Experience in budget development, financial management, and revenue-generating program development, working in partnership with the CFOO. Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills, especially with faculty, administration, and external organizations. Exceptional leadership, team management, communication, and strategic planning skills.
