Job Summary
Wasco Union High School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Attendance Clerk. The position is full time, eight hours per day, ten months per year, and five days per week. Exceptional Benefits Package: The District provides full health, dental, vision, prescription, and life insurance with no employee contribution for individual and family coverage. The salary range is $ 3,601.77-$4,546.12 per month.
Requirements / Qualifications
Under the direction of the principal or designee, maintain student attendance records, wait on students, faculty and parents, perform general clerical work, and to do related work as required. Records hours of attendance for individual students, records absences, posts entries on district attendance cards, verifying excuses and issuing admit slips, answers telephone calls from teachers, parents, or school officials and gives information from attendance files; contacts parents by telephone regarding student absences; writes permits for students leaving the campus; performs arithmetical calculations; assists in making out forms, assists in preparing required reports; operates common office machines and may assist counselors in matters related to student attendance.
