ABOUT HTLA HIGH SCHOOL Our mission statement: “HighTech LA is a diverse community of active learners dedicated to fusing the traditional academic subjects with real-world technical applications and problem-solving skills. Students are productive, self-directed learners, engaged in rigorous, relevant work. HTLA prepares students to be motivated, influential, leaders committed to the challenge of connecting our community to the larger society.” In 2024, 96% of them were accepted to a four-year college. HighTech LA, established in 2002, is a 400 student college- preparatory charter high school in the San Fernando Valley (Northern Los Angeles.). HTLA is a 2021, 2019, 2007 California Distinguished School, 2017 Gold Ribbon School, and 2022 Calfiornia Pivotal Practice Program. According to Niche HTLA is #8 of 507 Best Charter High Schools in CA and our teachers ranked in the top 1% in their national, state, county and city lists. WHY TEACH AT HTLA?
