Testing Center Coordinator – Upper School Join San Diego Jewish Academy (SDJA) as our Testing Center Coordinator and play a key role in supporting student success in a structured, supportive environment. In this important position, you'll manage the daily operations of the Upper School Testing Center, ensuring a smooth academic testing environment for students while maintaining academic integrity. If you're organized, proactive, and enjoy working with students and educators in a collaborative school setting, we’d love to meet you.

Comments and Other Information

You will be kept busy with:
  • Testing Oversight. Supervise daily academic testing sessions to ensure a focused, distraction-free environment.
  • Scheduling. Manage the testing calendar and coordinate appointments for students and teachers.
  • Student Supervision. Ensure students stay on task and uphold the highest standards of academic integrity.
  • Communication. Serve as the key point of contact between the Testing Center and Upper School faculty.
  • Support. Keep the Testing Center running smoothly and efficiently and pitch in on other duties within the Upper School as needed and directed by Upper School leadership.
  • You’re good at:
  • Organization. Juggling multiple tasks and staying ahead of scheduling needs.
  • Supervision. Keeping students focused and accountable in a respectful way.
  • Collaboration. Working well with teachers, administrators, and staff to support academic goals.
  • Problem-solving. Thinking on your feet when scheduling or student needs change unexpectedly.
  • Communication. Clearly and professionally sharing information with students, teachers, and administrators.
  • Reliability. Showing up on time and ready to support the school community.
  • You bring this to the table:
  • A high school diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Experience working in a school or educational environment preferred
  • Proficiency with basic technology tools like email, Google Calendar, and spreadsheets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, professional demeanor
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and support student needs with discretion
  • A commitment to being present and engaged during school hours
