We are looking for a part-time Medical Assistant Instructor for our Adult Education Program - Spring & Summer Session, Classes are in the evenings from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Job Description / Essential Elements:

Instruction to Adult Education students with a goal of entry level employment, in the field of health care, or as preparation for advanced training in the health care field at the community college level. Manage classroom in such a manner as to ensure an environment conducive to learning. Maintain and submit attendance and student records within specific timelines. Act as a role model for students. Maintain positive public relations with all entities. Provide supervision and safety of students. Develop and maintain clinical internship sites and business partnerships.
Requirements / Qualifications
Current California Registered Nurse/LVN;with a minimum of three (3) years full-time verifiable experience in the acute care setting. Possession of, or meet qualifications required to obtain a Designated Subjects Career Technical Education teaching credential in the field of Health Science and Medical Technology.Must have valid authorization to teach English learners in the state of California or enroll in a program for completion of certificate.
