Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants are required to submit the following items with the application: 1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college and meet California's Commision on Teacher Credentialing eligibility requirements. 2. Appropriate credentials or permit issued by the Commission of Teacher Credentialing (CTC). 30 Day Emergency Substitute Permit, Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential Visit CTC's 30 Day Emergency Substitute Permit Checklist HERE Foreign Transcripts must be evaluated for US equivalency by an accredited and CTC approved transcript evaluator. Visit CTC's website for a list of accredited evaluators: HERE SELECTION PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO HOLDERS OF PROFESSIONAL-LEVEL TEACHING CERTIFICATION SUCH AS: Preliminary & Clear Multiple, Single or Special Education credentials and 30 day Substitute Permit Holders

One of the 3 required references on your application must be from a past/present supervisor. Bachelor's Degree is required to be eligible for a 30 Day Substitute Permit. Live Scan Fingerprint and Valid Certificate of Clearance from CTC
