Job Summary
Only current contracted SUSD employees may apply. Current vacancy at John F. Kennedy Middle School. Assists in supervising, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing the work of staff responsible for providing custodial cleaning, light maintenance work refinishing services. Ensures that school and district facilities are suitable for use by complying with cleanliness and safety requirements. May conduct training and participate in the more skilled work performed by custodians.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of custodial experience with some experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
SELECTION PROCESS: All applications will be screened to verify current SUSD employment and ensure applicant meets minimum qualifications. The process will include a 2-part oral exam. Passing score is 75% on each exam. Those candidates achieving a passing score of 75% or higher will be placed on an eligibility list and will receive a departmental interview. The eligibility list is good for one year. All exams are based on the job description for the position. Job descriptions are available on the District website, Personnel Commission, or Human Resources.
