Job Summary
The Teacher Support Mentor position is for ONE teacher who will be responsible for supporting teachers who teach Science. Areas of support will include but are not limited to classroom management, instructional strategies, student engagement, data tracking, student collaboration and induction.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education: -Clear and Valid California Teaching Credential -Authorization to teach English Learners -Advanced course work and/or training in subject matter content, core and intervention curriculum and instructional strategies specific to the duties of the job -Master's degree preferred Experience: -Ten years of successful teaching experience -Master Teacher and/or instructional coaching experience -Experience in site/teacher leadership roles (i.e.,Grade level leader/SAP team, Induction mentor, PAR consulting teacher/panel ) -Demonstrated ability as an exemplary teacher License: -Valid California Drivers' License
