Position Summary: Justin-Siena is seeking a part-time Social Studies teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position will have an opportunity to teach World History or US History. The candidate is expected to plan, organize, and implement instructional activities that facilitate active learning. Additionally, we seek candidates who model and support our Lasallian Catholic mission. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: -Collaborate within the Social Studies Department to investigate, develop, and deliver our curriculum. -Intentional focus on student achievement. -Grade student work and maintain/update grades. -Build and maintain positive relationships with students and instructional teams. -Communicate effectively with students and families. Key Systems Knowledge Preferred: Google Suite (especially Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Google Docs, and Google Forms) Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Schoology PowerSchool
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred -Teaching credential in Social Studies preferred -Strong commitment and desire to work with youth and adults in a collaborative environment
