Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Graduation with an Associate degree in pre-law, business administration, public administration or a closely related field, which includes completion of course work in business law, legal writing, legal research and civil procedures from an accredited college or university. Experience: Three (3) years of experience performing one or more of the following duties on a regular basis: researching and providing technical assistance to lawyers in preparing cases, providing guidance regarding legal procedures and regulations, or employment as a paralegal in a law firm or labor relations office and performing duties associated with the classification. Equivalency Provision: A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university may be substituted for all three years of the required experience. Special License or Language Skills ? A California Driver License, Class C ? A valid automobile liability insurance
