Under general supervision and direction of the Executive Director, the Executive Assistant is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the charter school administration office. The position provides administrative assistance to plan, organize, and perform work assigned to provide high level administrative support to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. This role manages the day-to-day operations and transactions of the central administration office, answering/screening phone calls, preparing correspondence and other written communication. The Executive Assistant is responsible for receiving mail and responding to inquiries and requests, coordinating meetings, travel and events, supervising office staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, performing limited personnel management functions, and handling confidential information and other related duties. This role is essential to planning and supporting governance activities, including monthly Board meeting preparation. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Oversees and manages the smooth and efficient operation of the Administration Office; • Perform highly complex, independent, technical and confidential, clerical and administrative support services, relieving the Executive Director of administrative and clerical detail; • Greets, welcomes and assists all staff, students, parents, community members, callers and visitors to the Administration Office; • Establishes and maintains complex, interrelated electronic and other filing systems and records; • Reviews and checks documents, records, and related forms for accuracy, completeness, and conformance to applicable rules and procedures; • Collects and compiles statistical or financial data and other information for inclusion into special reports, proposals and presentations; • Assists in preparation of board meeting agendas and all related communication; • Coordinates clerical and a
