Job Summary

The Campus Safety Officer is responsible for maintaining order and discipline, preventing crime, investigating violations of school board policies on school property or at school-sponsored events and is responsible solely for ensuring the safety, security, and welfare of all students, faculty, staff, and visitors in the assigned school. Position assists the administrative staff with enforcing policies and procedures for safe and orderly schools at the building level. Work hours are 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday-Friday (although these hours may vary and may require occasional evening and weekend work based on organizational needs). Minimal or no travel required, other than visits to other local school sites or the Business Office (as needed).
