Requirements / Qualifications

2 Letters of Recommendation Education: Equivalent to completion of high school. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis up to a maximum of four years. Experience: Six months of food service experience in a commercial/industrial setting.

The Fremont Unified School District is a Merit System District and fills all vacancies in the classified service through competitive examinations. All applications and supplemental information will be reviewed to determine the candidates whose training and experience most closely match the requirements of the position. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in the testing process, which may include written, oral and/or performance exams. The testing results will determine the rank of the candidates from which an eligibility list is prepared. Selection will be made from the top three ranks on the list.
