Position Description: Assists children in the Media Centers by providing individual or group help under the direct supervision of the school principal and the general supervision of the assigned Media Center program administrator or supervisor.
Responsibilities:
• Helps teachers and students to locate and use materials
• Shelves incoming books
• Assists in the annual inventory of media center materials
• Operates audio-visual equipment
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of currently accepted library practices
• Ability to proficiently operate appropriate office equipment, including computers
• Ability to model good English, spelling, language usage, and grammar
• A minimum of one year of media center or related experience
• Ability to make repairs on library materials
