Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job-related field and have at least four years of progressively responsible professional experience in systems design, scripting, network administration, and optimization within a large LAN/WAN environment. A minimum of one year must include direct responsibility for network, server, and systems security. Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices including multi-factor authentication (MFA), virtual private networks (VPN), public key infrastructure (PKI), single sign-on (SSO), encryption methods, and established security standards such as CIS and NIST. Selection Process All applications will be screened to ensure applicant meets minimum qualifications. The process will include a 2-part oral exam scheduled for May 22, 2025. Passing score is 75% on each exam. Those candidates achieving a passing score of 75% or higher will be placed on an eligibility list and will receive a departmental interview. The eligibility list is good for one year. All exams are based on the job description for the position.
