South Sutter Charter School (SSCS) is a WASC accredited charter school managed by Innovative Education Management (IEM). The school serves students in Sutter, Butte, Colusa, Placer, Sacramento, Yolo, and Yuba counties. Our family of charter schools include South Sutter, Ocean Grove, and Sky Mountain. Job Summary
The Advisors support, supervise, and train education specialists (ESs) and is the team leader for their group of education specialists. The Advisor ensures a quality educational program for students as demonstrated by improved student performance. Incumbent develops consistent dialogue, motivational relationships with students/parent-families, promotes school policies and the ‘individualized’ learning procedures. The incumbent is expected to remain calm under pressure, work cooperatively with team members and others to provide the highest level of service possible and work in accordance with the Guiding Principles of the organization.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. - Credentials/Certifications: Current California teaching credential required. Administrative credential preferred. - Experience: Three (3) years of teaching experience.
