Hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (6:30am - 3:00pm). Overseeing Kitchens and Warehouse District Wide. The Food Service Manager position, which supports the Child Nutrition Department, seeks a candidate who is dependable and who exhibits strong time management. Understanding of School Nutrition Program operations, principles of food warehouse management and developed leadership skills are highly desired. The department comprises four high schools and two K8 sites. PUHSD Food Services is committed to high-quality, freshly prepared meals, daily to all of our students. This fast paced, fun environment supports student meals access at all of the PUHSD meal service sites stretching from above Colfax to Loomis. The successful candidate will be required to complete FBI/DOJ clearance, a post-offer/pre-placement screening exam, a DMV pull notice, and pre-employment online training.

Any offer is contingent upon formal approval by the Placer Union High School District Board of Trustees, Live Scan fingerprint clearance, maintenance of all credentials, licenses, transcripts, and/or certificates necessary to perform the duties of the above-entitled position, the district’s review of information related to past instances of misconduct pursuant to AB 2534 (Certificated positions), and current medical verification that the incumbent is free of active tuberculosis.
