Job Summary

This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and operates with autonomy within the framework of organizational policies. The Human Resources Analyst is responsible for a wide range of functions including recruitment, employment practices, information management, employee classification, compensation, and leave programs. Serving as a key technical resource, the Analyst manages personnel transactions, maintains employee records, and conducts statistical and demographic reporting and analysis.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • A high school diploma or equivalent; • An Associate of Arts degree or higher in a related discipline is highly desirable; • Two (2) years of progressively responsible complex human resource experience; • Experience with schools highly desirable; • Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively, including lifting twenty-five (25) pounds on an occasional basis and in excess of twenty-five (25) pounds with assistance. BENEFITS Employees are provided with an insurance plan, which includes health, vision, and dental insurance for employee, spouse, and dependents, at a shared cost. Participation in this plan is mandatory for employees working 35 plus hours a week. Employee will be a member of the Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) to which both the employee and MCOE contribute. MCOE does not participate in the Social Security system.
