Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Nutrition Services develops, implements, and monitors policies and procedures that ensure compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines; develops, plans, and executes menus and recipes to meet student acceptability; manages special dietary needs; assists with developing procurement protocols for sourcing food, equipment, and supplies; supervises, trains, and evaluates nutrition services personnel; co-facilitates the wellness committee and assists in the implementation and promotion of wellness initiatives.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license and use of a personal automobile. An applicant for this class will be required to obtain, at his/her own expense, and submit his/her motor vehicle driving record at the time of appointment. The record must meet and be maintained at the District’s safe driving record standard. Failure to meet this requirement will result in the disqualification of the applicant. Active status as a Registered Dietitian or be eligible for certification as a Registered Dietitian within one year is strongly preferred. Valid Food Safety Manager Certificate.
