“Be Extraordinary” The Riverside Unified School District (RUSD), located in Riverside, California, is a large public school district with a long history, dating back to the 1870s. It serves a significant portion of the city of Riverside, as well as the unincorporated areas of Highgrove and Woodcrest.

  • Size and Enrollment: RUSD is the 16th largest school district in California, encompassing approximately 92 square miles. It has around 40,000 students in grades K-12 and nearly 7,000 adult education students

  • A seasoned educational leader with a proven track record of success
  • 3-5 years of cabinet-level (or equivalent) administrative experience
  • Knowledge of instruction, business, and human resource functions in California’s public schools
