Job Summary
Under general direction, implements various Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) Communications department strategies; contributes to SCOE public, employee, and media relations efforts by acting as a lead in managing a range of marketing and communication plans to support new and existing Communications objectives; establishes and maintains strategic partnerships with organizations within the county, region, and state; performs other duties as assigned.

• Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
In-person work is the industry standard for educational entities such as SCOE. Hybrid telecommuting opportunities may be available depending on job duties and department needs.
Examination/Selection Processes
Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in examinations that may be administered remotely. Remotely administered exams will require a computer, webcam, and microphone. If you are unable to participate remotely, contact the designated representative before the deadline to make alternate arrangements.
