Coast Unified School District is looking for substitute teachers to add to our substitute list for elementary, junior high, and high school. Coast Unified School District, a close-knit TK–12 district serving approximately 460 students along California’s beautiful Central Coast, is seeking dedicated and flexible Substitute Teachers to support students across grade levels and school sites as needed. In our small district, relationships matter and every team member has a visible impact. Substitute Teachers play an important role in maintaining a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment when classroom teachers are absent. Assignments may include elementary, middle, or high school classrooms, with opportunities to support a variety of subjects, student needs, and school activities. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and enjoys working with students in a collaborative school community. Successful substitutes are patient, organized, and able to follow lesson plans while creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes learning, respect, and student well-being.
