Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, researches, develops, coordinates, implements and assesses staff development in the content area of mathematics in accordance with State and federal mandates and district/ school/ curriculum needs for curriculum reform and school development planning specific to learning acceleration; supports the implementation of the California Collaborative for Learning Acceleration (CCLA) grant within the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework; provides technical, specialized, consultative, advisory and planning services in mathematics; provides direction and leadership to interpret data in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the schools; serves as a resource to program representatives and the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE). This is a grant funded position.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent to: master's degree in education, mathematics, or related field and five (5) years of teaching experience, including increasingly responsible experience conducting professional development activities. Administrative experience preferred. Licenses and Other Requirements - Valid California Administrative Services Credential; An administrative credential is preferred, but we will accept candidates currently enrolled in an administrative credential program. You must send proof of enrollment in a program. - Valid California Teaching Credential; - Valid California driver's license
