The Educational Services Department is pleased to share the following MUSD Summer School information with you. This information is provided to you so that you may plan accordingly should you choose to apply for a position in one of Monrovia’s summer programs Summer School Sites: Plymouth Elementary School Summer School Dates: June 16 - July 16, 2025 (School will be closed on June 19 & 20, July 4) Summer School Hours of Operation: Elementary School: 8:00am - 12:30pm
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing service as a school counselor. - Equivalent to completion of a Master of Arts or higher degree from an accredited college or university in school counseling or other closely related areas. - Successful counseling experience at the elementary level. - Bilingual preferred, but not required. - Successful classroom teaching is desirable.
Applicants that are NOT Current MUSD Employees must include all of the following with your application. Documents must be uploaded to your application in order to be considered. - Letter of Introduction (Attach a letter of introduction in which you include a brief overview of experiences, education philosophy, talents and skills) - Letter(s) of Recommendation (Attach three recent (within one year) letters of reference) - Resume (Attach an updated, current resume) - Credential Copy (Please look up your California Pupil Personnel Services Credential on the CTC website, save it as a PDF, and upload it to your Edjoin application)
