Job Summary

The Literacy Arts ToSA will primarily serve students in grades 1st-3rd and will be responsible for teaching arts incorporating literacy. The art students create will be inspired by a variety of literature and students will write about the pieces they create. The ToSA will work with 1st-3rd grade students on a variety of projects throughout the school year at a variety of times throughout the year as all 6 elementary schools will get to experience the projects. The Literacy Arts ToSA will create art boxes equipped with lessons and supplies (similar to our STEAM kits) so that teachers can expand upon projects. In addition, to support our after school programs and Expanded Learning Opportunities students, the ToSA will model lessons in our Extended Care program for TK/K students and potentially older students as well.
