EDCOE Charter Alternative Programs is looking for a talented individual to join our team. This is a classified 24 hours per week position, Monday through Wednesday from 10:00 AM-6:30 PM at our Charter Alternative Campus located at the El Dorado County Office of Education. Under the Supervision of Charter Alternative Program Administrator, this individual will assist in planning and implementing an instructional program for students’ academic, vocational, and/or personal growth. The successful candidate will maintain an orderly, safe and well-managed classroom environment and will assist in providing oversight of the Pearson Vue Testing Center. The individual must be able to gather information from an off-campus source and follow instructions independently. Essential Job Functions: • Assist in providing instruction as assigned • Assist in preparation of materials needed to teach adult learners • Prepare and submit requested reports in an accurate and timely manner • Participate in appropriate developmental and organizational activities • Adhere to and maintain strict agency security measures • Work with other staff including administrative, counseling, clerical and other instructors • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements / Qualifications

Job Requirements - Qualifications: • Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent, and two years of college (48 units), or AA degree (or higher), or pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction. • Experience required: Prior job related experience
