Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Mental Health Coordinator, the Social Emotional Learning Facilitator provides short term SEL prevention and early intervention services to students individually at times, though predominately in small groups, and to whole classrooms through skill building and psychoeducation addressing various aspects of wellness, such as building positive relationships, bullying prevention, strategies for seeking help, emotional regulation, and mental health literacy. The Social Emotional Learning Facilitator consults with teachers, administrators, specialists, parents, outside agencies, and district personnel on social-emotional-and behavior management programs and services. Social Emotional Learning Facilitator may be assigned as All-Campus working to support GVA Modesto, GVA Salida and/or GVA Homeschool.
