Job Summary

Job Summary

Promote positive public relations between the school district and community. Prepare and provide information to the public about the activities, goals, and policies of the school district. Distribute pertinent information about the district and its activities to all stakeholders. Establish and maintain internal and external communication programs that promote an understanding and appreciation of the district’s efforts to provide students with positive learning outcomes.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of a valid California driver's license Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s Degree is preferred. Field of Study in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations and/or Marketing or other Education Related areas is preferred. Experience: Five or more years experience in communications or marketing. Two or more years of website/social media management experience
