Job Summary
The Walnut Creek School District is in search of a Math Instructional Coach, who has both curriculum and instructional expertise, works as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning. The Instructional Coach will focus on individual and group professional development that will expand and refine the understanding of research-based effective instruction. The Instructional Coach together with administrators and classroom teachers examines data, student work samples and designs standards-based, high-quality instruction. The Instructional Coach serves as a member of a building leadership team working to align district and site goals based on an examination of data. As a member of a professional coaching community, the Instructional Coach participates in professional development and inquiry into his or her own instructional leadership and practice.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Teaching Credential Single Subject Math Credential Preferred, Multiple Subject accepted .
