Job Summary
Become a Physics & Engineering teacher at STEM Prep! This is a position at the high school, Math and Science College Prep. This line up consists of 1 period of "Physics in the Universe" and 4 periods of "Introduction to Engineering Design". We use a full curriculum from Open SciEd for the Physics course to ensure our students are meeting the needs of the NGSS and a full curriculum from Project Lead the Way for the engineering course to ensure our students are engaged and having fun! All classroom materials for both courses are ready to go for you and your students. If you are passionate about closing the socio-economic, ethnic, and gender gaps in STEM fields through delivering rigorous curriculum to all students, you are in the right place! Requirements / Qualifications
Valid CA Credential in Physics (exceptions can be made for candidates with a Foundational Level Science Credential, Introductory Science Authorization or 18 college level units in Physics)
