We are currently seeking exceptional Counselors to join our team at Canyon View School in San Dimas. We serve students with diverse disabilities, including specific learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, behavior and emotional problems, cognitive disabilities, and autism. With a high staff-to-student ratio of at least one staff member for every three to four students, we ensure that each student receives the individualized attention they need to thrive. Our self-contained classrooms, each led by a dedicated Special Education Teacher and supported by up to two Instructional Assistants, provide a supportive setting for learning and growth. The Role: We are looking for a Counselor, who utilizes leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, school counselors promote student success, provide preventive services, and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students. Liaison between school and parent. This position is full time and requires: Pupil Personnel Services Credential – Current in the State of California; or Licensed MFT/LCSW/Clinical Psychologist (Mentored Intern in any of the licensed areas)
