Job Summary

Job Summary

Under general supervision; performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of computer systems and equipment, peripheral equipment, network systems, LAN upkeep, application software, and networking software. Provides technical support to district personnel for both instructional and administrative activities.

Requirements / Qualifications

Graduation from high school-diploma or equivalent. Professional experience in the field of computer technology is desired. Technology Technician Experience in the K-12 environment is desired. Training will be provided in areas as needed. A+ certification or equivalent is desired.

Possession of a valid California Class ‘C’ driver’s license. Ability to obtain Forklift and MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) certifications. (training provided by District) Both written and practical district tests regarding basic computer maintenance, applications, and operations will be required
