Petaluma City Schools is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and equity-driven leader to serve as Assistant Principal of Valley Vista Public Waldorf School. We are looking for an innovative educator who is committed to fostering student success, championing inclusive practices, and building strong partnerships with staff, families, and the broader community. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of culturally responsive and anti-racist practices, as well as the ability to use data to inform instruction and school-wide decision-making. Key responsibilities include: - Assist in the development and implementation of engaging, standards-based instruction. - Supporting staff in delivering high-quality, culturally responsive teaching. - Collaborating with school and district leadership to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive school culture. - Identifying and addressing systemic barriers to equity and student achievement. - Building meaningful relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners. A valid California teaching credential, a valid California Administrative Services Credential and a Masters degree (or in progress) are required. A successful candidate must also possess a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience and demonstrated experience with English Learners. Bilingual / Bicultural preferred.
