Job Summary
Teaches skills and develops knowledge in beginning and advanced level of vocal music utilizing courses of study adopted by the Board of Education. Coordinates and directs music productions.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: • Must possess a valid teaching credential authorizing service as a vocal music teacher at the elementary grades level. • Experience in planning elementary standards-based musical educational and performing programs is required. • Experience in teaching vocal music. • Ability to work harmoniously with individuals and groups of diverse cultural backgrounds. • If your English Learner Authorization (CLAD/BCLAD/EL/ELA/SDAIE) is not embedded in your credential, you must currently hold or qualify for a CLAD or BCLAD certificate.
