BASIC FUNCTION: The Accountant I independently performs a wide variety of professional and technical accounting duties such as training and directing the work of assigned staff. here is currently one 12-month, full-time position available at the following department: Fiscal Control Department 4100 Normal Street Rm 3251 San Diego CA, 92103 This position qualifies for District Paid health and wellness benefits for employee and dependents
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from a recognized college with a major in accounting or business administration and two years of accounting experience; payroll and retirement auditing experience is desirable.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California driver's license and availability of private transportation (mileage expense allowance provided).
