Sycamore Community School is seeking a Spanish teacher for grades K-8 to join our growing, private school learning community located in downtown Santa Monica. SCS is an independent school established by a group of educators who came together around a common set of principles about what school programs should provide for students and families today. Sycamore is currently serving children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. SCS enjoys small class sizes taught by highly skilled and passionate instructors. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. They should be fluent in Spanish and have cultural and historical knowledge of Spanish speaking countries. They will maintain a positive learning environment in their classroom and plan interactive and engaging lessons using ¡Vivamos! Spanish curriculum. They should be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, administration, and, if applicable, outside professionals. Sycamore Community School is looking for a dynamic and flexible individual who will be adaptable to a growing and innovative work environment.
