Salary placement is determined based on your education and verified public school teaching experience. Up to seven (7) years of prior public school experience may be credited toward placement on the salary schedule. Please note: Substitute teaching experience is not accepted for salary placement purposes. To receive one year of credit, you must have worked at least 75% of the fiscal year in a qualifying position.
