Job Summary
The STEM Teacher will design and deliver engaging, hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics instruction to elementary students in grades K–8. This position may be full-time or part-time, and will be placed on the certificated salary schedule. A single subject credential in math, science, or a related area is acceptable.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: • Valid California teaching credential (Single Subject in Math or Science or multiple subject with strong STEM background). • Passion for STEM education and inspiring young learners. • Strong classroom management and communication skills. • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs. • Willingness to collaborate in a Mandarin immersion environment (no Mandarin required, but openness to the program is key!). Preferred Qualifications: • Experience teaching STEM in a K–8 setting. • Familiarity with Mandarin immersion or multilingual education environments. • Knowledge of NGSS, Project-Based Learning, and EdTech tools.
