Job Summary

The Santa Cruz/Silicon Valley New Teacher Project (SC/SVNTP) is now accepting applications for contract mentors for the 2025-26 school year. These stipend employees, mentor a small number of Induction teachers. We are interested in candidates at elementary and secondary levels.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Successful experience teaching in a local school district with a diverse student population - Minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience - Valid California teaching credential - Experience in the following areas preferred: ·Teaching Multilingual students ·Supporting neurodiverse students ·California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP) ·Adult Learning Theory ·Culturally Responsive Pedagogy ·Use of technology to personalize and advance student learning
