Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned administrator or supervisor, plans, organizes, manages and directs the District’s Multilingual Program; monitors funding and services offered by the District and assures compliance; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE OF: • Administrative training and staff development principles and techniques. • Curriculum alignment, authentic assessment, learning theory and effective instructional practice. ABILITY TO: • Establish and maintain effective professional working relations with staff, District personnel and other agencies. • Make presentations to various audiences and facilitate organizational development. • Supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff. • Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures. • Attend and support District and school site events. ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS: • Master’s degree from an accredited university. • Valid California Teaching Credential. • Valid California K-12 Administrative Credential. • EL authorization or equivalent. • Five (5) years of outstanding certificated experience. • Three (3) years of site level administrative experience. • Bilingual/Biliterate preferred. * * * * * * * * * * * * * DISQUALIFICATION While applicants are encouraged to research the community and the school system, anyone who attempts to directly contact individual board members, the superintendent, or innovation team members with the intent of influencing the decision of the Board, will be considered to have disqualified herself/himself from candidacy for the position.
