Job Summary

A public charter school serving grades K-12 in Orange County, California, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. The Classroom Teacher will deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction to foster academic excellence, critical thinking, and personal growth in students. This role requires a collaborative educator who is committed to our charter mission, skilled in differentiated instruction, and eager to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues in a diverse and dynamic setting.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a related field. • Valid California Teaching Credential (Multiple Subject (preferred) for K-8 or Single Subject for 6-12, with appropriate authorizations). • Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and manage a diverse classroom. • Knowledge of California Common Core Standards, NGSS, and best practices in instruction. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Minimum of two (2) years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting, preferably in a charter or public school. • Experience with innovative educational models (e.g., blended learning, STEM, or arts integration) common in charter schools. • Familiarity with Orange County’s student demographics and community dynamics. • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support English Language Learners and families. • Additional certifications, such as CLAD/BCLAD or training in social-emotional learning.
