Requirements / Qualifications

Certificated Candidates • Minimum of five years of supervisory, personnel administration, public administration, or other administrative and supervisory related activities. • Clear California Administrative Services Credential • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in educational leadership or related field of study. • Experience as a school principal (preferred) with five years teaching experience (preferred) • Training in Labor & Contract law or related legal training or experience • Desire for second language proficiency in Spanish or other language to match community needs. • Excellent communication skills and evidence of effective interaction with community, staff, parents and students. • Demonstrated achievement as an educational leader with vision and strong interpersonal skills, including specific evidence of student academic improvement in a school setting as a result of the candidate’s leadership • Certificate from ACSA Personnel Training Academy or willingness to attend ACSA Personnel Training Academy • SHRM or SPHR Professional certification a plus.
