Job Summary
FUHSD Adult School is seeking a Social Studies teacher for our Adult Secondary Education (ASE) program. The teacher will lead Economics in Quarter 1 and U.S. Government in Quarter 2, with the potential to teach U.S. History or Citizenship in Quarters 3 and 4 based on enrollment. Courses will include asynchronous activities to enhance and support student learning. This is a great opportunity to help adult learners achieve their academic goals in a supportive and flexible environment.

• Must be in possession of: a PRELIMINARY or CLEAR Adult Education Teaching Credential in appropriate field. -OR- • Either a Secondary or Elementary Teaching Credential also satisfying this requirement.

• Pay: $52.66 - $60.54 per hour. Additional pay is for prep, grading, and accountability.
• Seeking a teacher who is able to engage and challenge students while also being understanding of their diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Teacher will be teaching Economics (Q1), US Gov. (Q2). Possibility to teach US History or Citizenship in Q3, Q4 depending on enrollment. Classes to include asynchronous activities to support student learning.
