Under the supervision of the Director of Programs at The Center (Central Kitchen, Education Center and Instructional Garden), this position will support a variety of grant, data and communications activities for the Environment, Food and Garden (EFG) Program. This position works primarily in person at The Center located in West Oakland. To find out more about the program, see https://sites.google.com/ousd.org/thecenteredprogramming. BASIC FUNCTION: Perform a variety of highly complex, specialized duties requiring excellent communication skills; utilize specialized knowledge and independent judgment involving frequent and responsible contact with program participants, District personnel, and students. The Specialist supports the daily operations of the District Wellness Champion Program and supports the development of, facilitates, and promotes other wellness programs and services in the District.
