BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach works under the direction of the Athletic Director. Coach is responsible for the supervision and development of the Girls Basketball program. Responsible for developing tryout and practice schedules for all levels of the program. Responsible for the general upkeep, inventory and protection of equipment and facilities under the jurisdiction of the program. Maintain ongoing communication with the Athletic Director regarding any developments in the program. Monitor the scholastic eligibility and conduct of athletics and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
•Valid CPR, First Aid, Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Acclimatization, and Coaching certifications or willing to obtain; •Valid CA driver's license and proof of auto insurance; •Experience coaching and knowledge of sport and rules; •Fingerprint clearance prior to beginning work; •T.B. clearance prior to beginning work; • Ability to motivate high school students; •Ability to be a team player and work well with staff, parents, coaches, players and others contacted in the course of work.
