Special Education Department’s Vision: Through positive collaboration and celebration of individuality, we strive to foster self-awareness, build confidence, and promote meaningful participation for each student. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: The role of School Psychologist/BCBA at the R. Roger Rowe Elementary School is to provide a wide variety of psychological services for District-operated programs; assessing students’ intellectual and functional levels; completing Functional Behavioral Analysis; developing Behavior Intervention Plans; providing information on child development issues to school personnel and parents; supporting student’s behavioral needs; collecting data on behavior and other student needs; providing counseling for students with IEPs; completing Framework for Additional Personnel Support (FAPS) plans; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Current California Pupil Personnel Services School Psychology Credential Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA), preferred, but may be in progress Out-of-state applicants must have a corresponding credential/license and obtain the appropriate California credentials. Required application documents are listed below and must be submitted with the online application in PDF format. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: At least two years' experience as a School Psychologist or equivalent, preferred.
