Job Summary

Position: The Dean of Students establishes an atmosphere of respect and structure within the school that is conducive to learning. The Dean of Students coordinates all phases of policy implementation related to student discipline and decorum as well as campus safety and security. This includes responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day monitoring and enforcement of school rules and regulations; ensuring the safety and security of the school campus; and assisting teachers in the development of positive relationships, including utilizing restorative practices to enhance positive community relationships. Serving as a facilitator, resource and leader, the Dean of Students will report directly to and provide professional assistance to the Vice Principal and will be a member of the School Life team.
