Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Art Teacher to join our school community. This role involves teaching Visual Arts to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 12th Grade, fostering creativity, self-expression, and an appreciation for the arts across all age levels. The Art Teacher, serving as a 60% contracted teacher, will engage students in hands-on art projects, introduce a variety of art techniques and media, and integrate art history and cultural studies into lessons where appropriate. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate, engaging art lessons for students in grades TK–12. Introduce students to a wide range of artistic styles, techniques, materials, and tools. Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and individuality. Organize and display student artwork throughout the campus and support art-related events or exhibitions. Collaborate with faculty to support cross-curricular learning opportunities and schoolwide projects. Maintain an organized, safe, and well-stocked art space. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (Teaching credential preferred). Experience teaching art to students at both elementary and secondary grade levels. Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to tailor instruction to diverse learning styles and age groups.
