Job Summary
Reports to the Site Principal and to the Director of Special Education & Student Services. Special Education (SE) teachers work with children and youth who have a variety of disabilities. A special education teacher is a case manager for a group of identified students with disabilities. By being a case manager, the special education teacher will develop and implement in-person specialized instruction to special education students.
Requirements / Qualifications
A valid California certified Special Education Credential Autism Certification CLAD / CTEL Certification Ability to develop and implement an effective and flexible educational program which utilizes a wide variety of instructional methods and materials Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of student academic progress.
