The Special Education Department is pleased to share the following MUSD Summer School information with you. This information is provided to you so that you may plan accordingly should you choose to apply for a position in one of Monrovia’s summer programs. Summer School Sites: CELC - Preschool Plymouth Elementary School Monrovia High School ATP at MHS Preschool/Elementary Summer School Dates: June 16 – July 16, 2025 (School will be closed on June 19 & 20, July 4) Secondary Summer School Dates: June 16 – July 22, 2025 (School will be closed on June 19 & 20, July 4) Summer School Hours of Operation: ESY - Preschool: 8:15 am - 11:15 am Teacher Hours: 8:00 am – 11:30 am ESY - Elementary: 8:00 am - 12:30pm Teacher Hours: 7:45 am – 12:45 pm ESY – High School: 8:30 am - 1:45pm Teacher Hours: 8:15 am – 2:00 pm ATP: - 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Teacher Hours: 8:45 am – 1:15 pm
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidates must possess a valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential: Mild/Moderate Disabilities with an Autism Spectrum Disorders Added Authorization; EL Certification; and valid TB clearance. Preschool requires Education Specialist Instruction Credential: Mild/Moderate Disabilities with an Autism Spectrum Disorders and Early Childhood
Applicants NOT currently employed by MUSD must include college transcripts; a minimum of three letters of reference; resume; credential copy; and any other items which may support your candidacy for a position.
